Tannheimer Tal

Off to the "most beautiful high valley in Europe"!

The Tannheimer Tal in the north of Tyrol is known for its peaks such as Gimpel, Hochwiesler and Rote Flüh with tours of all levels of difficulty and also has some of the most beautiful via ferratas in Tyrol to offer.

Numerous routes for sport climbing, multi-pitch tours, 2 waterfalls for ice climbing and 1 high ropes course attract climbing enthusiasts to the Tannheimer Tal. And this has been the case for a very long time, as climbing has a long tradition here: several climbs were opened on the south faces, which are up to 200 m high, as early as 1900. Many of the old routes have now been renovated, but the Tannheimer Tal still offers climbing with alpine flair. Wedges and "friends" are just as much a part of the climbing harness here as the "chalk bag".
