In the border region between Tyrol and Salzburg, the Steinberge mountain sports region with the Loferer and Leoganger Steinberge mountains and, above all, the imposing Steinplatte is waiting to be conquered by climbing fans. From family-friendly climbing gardens to 10 exciting via ferratas and more than 1,000 sport climbing routes to alpine multi-pitch routes, everything is on offer here. With the "Pinzgawurm" route, you can even find one of the longest alpine sport climbs in this area (45 pitches).

- Steinplatte Central
A rock potential that is second to none - it is not for nothing that many famous names from the climbing scene have left their mark here. You can climb around 100 multi-pitch routes from grade 4 to 10 on the 150 m high walls of the Steinplatte. In recent years, the new routes have been equipped with bolts and the classics have been renovated. It is at its most beautiful from May to November. - Schmidt-Zabierow hut
The von Schmidt-Zabierow-Hütte is the only refuge hut in the Loferer Steinberg and is the ideal base for climbing the "big" peaks in this mountain range. For climbers, there have been perfect opportunities at all levels of difficulty for several years. Short base climbs, well-secured plaisir routes in the immediate vicinity of the hut, enjoyable ridge crossings and challenging alpine sport climbing routes up to 500m long. - Brantl (Wieslochzapfen)
A dream area with around 20 routes in the Steinernes Meer. Climbers in the lower levels of difficulty will also find their happiness on the walls of the Brantl am Wiesloch - especially in the two classic routes Iltis (south-west edge) and Südostwandl. The best time of year for climbing in this region is from May to October.
