Mauerbogen / Leutasch
Mauerbogen is a small and very idyllic climbing area with routes of medium difficulty. But be careful: the routes are quite challenging! If you are coming straight from indoor climbing, it's better to start with an easier grade and get used to the rock. The routes are rated rather "tough." However, after getting familiar with the rock, it is a rewarding climbing spot that offers enough challenges for a relaxed climbing day.
The approach follows a well-marked path (orange sign "Klettergarten Mauerbogen"). It takes 15 to 20 minutes uphill, but the hike is not difficult. If you're not in a hurry, you can take your time, take pictures of flowers, enjoy the view, and explore the "fern forest." The area is suitable for children, but because of the climbing style (very compact rock), it may not be the best choice for young beginners.
