The "Mauer" (wall) captivates in general through its impressive lines and routes of which nearly all are very rewarding. Nevertheless, the individual sectors have different features: small and big ledges, big but also small holes, mostly long, few short lines, often slightly overhanging, but also vertical and strongly overhanging ... All in all a climbing area in which many routes are not easy to climb and with a lot of special technical features and surprises. In any case, the climbs are exciting and varying and when you made it to the top you will be all the more pleased. The elevated, quiet location with a view towards the Stubaier Alps gives the "Mauer" a special ambience. In the whole are of the "Chinesische Mauer" there is a danger of falling rocks. We recommend staying close to the wall. A helmet can prevent injuries or mitigate the consequences. Don't let your children stay around the foot of the wall!

Notice: Pay special attention to alpine dangers such as rockfall, icefall and avalanches especially in spring, autumn and winter. The access as well as the climbing is at your own risk.

Access
The "Chinesische Mauer" is very well visible from the parking space or bus stop at Puitbach. After just a few meters along the country road, you cross it and follow a small street to a farm (Offers organic pasta and organic eggs, open all day long). Then you go further along a field patch for ca. 700m until you reach a gate. From there further along the same direction for another ca. 70 m (you cross a forest path) and then take the left of the two cart paths. Further over a small hill and then shortly downwards into a hollow. From there steeply upwards along a forest path and via a few hairpins up to the start of the "Mauer", the "Puls 2000" and to the main sector. In total 20 minutes. Please without exception only use the marked path (orange)!
