Climbing paradise Paznaun

Climbing or bouldering - you're spoiled for choice here!

High above Galtür in Tyrol, at an altitude of 2,000 m, is the Silvapark - probably one of the best areas for bouldering in the Oberland. Especially in the summer months, when it is already very hot in many places in Tyrol, the temperatures here are pleasant for bouldering in a fantastic location and with impressive views.

Bernd Zangerl opened the first boulders here and with Anam Cara 8c established the most difficult boulder not only in the Paznaun Valley, but in the whole of Tyrol. There are now 445 boulder routes in all levels of difficulty waiting for boulder freaks.

As a special treat for families, there is the first bouldering area for children in Tyrol to discover.

Several via ferratas, including a special family via ferrata, a bouldering wall in the Alpinarium and two climbing gardens in the vicinity of the Jamtalhütte and Heidelberger Hütte round off the climbing offer in Paznaun. The Paznaun Valley is therefore a true paradise for alpinists, climbing freaks and those who want to become one.
