The Imst vacation region in the Tyrolean Oberland has a lot to offer at any time of year: Whether climbing, hiking, mountaineering, swimming, mountain biking or rafting - sports enthusiasts of all abilities are spoiled for choice here!
The climbing offer is particularly varied and diverse. With more than 3,000 routes of all levels of difficulty - the route network has been extensively expanded and renovated in recent years - and the highest climbing hall in Austria, the area is one of the top spots on the scene!
And if you don't fancy a long descent along the hiking trail, the Alpine Coaster is highly recommended. With lots of bends and high speeds, it takes you down into the valley - an experience that promises to be great fun!

- Hanau via ferrata
Fantastic hut via ferrata with a long rope bridge, which can be climbed in several variations - suitable for all skill levels. The easy via ferrata ends at the helicopter landing pad, right next to the hut, which sits on a rock platform. The approach to the via ferrata takes approx. 90 minutes. - Imster via ferrata/Maldonkopf
A wonderful alpine via ferrata in the Lechtal Alps! Great, grippy limestone, sparse on footholds, but well secured and a fantastic, long and varied route. The new descent variant into the Engelkar significantly enhances this via ferrata. The ascent takes approx. 1 hour from the Muttekopfhütte. - Leite via ferrata/Nassereith
Sporty, great route with a wonderful line that requires stamina and strength. The via ferrata does not require any artificial footholds and offers one or two difficulties with its initially unspectacular-looking slabs. The southern orientation, the short approach and the diverse climbing options make the via ferrata in Nassereith particularly attractive. It takes around 20 minutes to get from the parking lot to the start and around 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the highest point. - Muttekopfhütte/climbing gardens
A modern, short via ferrata close to the hut. Suitable for families, children and young people as well as beginners with the appropriate safety equipment. However, the footholds are often too far away for children with a short reach. The approach takes approx. 50 minutes.
