The via ferrata Fernergries - in the rear Kaunertal valley impresses with its impressive scenery. Over polished glacier mica gneiss, the start of the route is at the impressive Rifflbach waterfall - in Fernergries. Starting to the left of the waterfall you cross the thundering brook over a bridge and then climb along the watercourse over slabs to a small "floor" where you can have a short rest. The 2nd part is a steep section that climbs up at a rapid pace until you reach the end of the via ferrata at the so-called "Schnapsloch".
