From Mayrhofen train station, walk along the railway tracks until you reach the Gasthof Zillertal (starting point).
Parking
For the via ferratas and the Himmelsleiter climbing area, there is a car park for which a fee is charged. This is located approx. 300 m out of the valley from the Gasthof Zillertal.

A true Eldorado for via ferrata enthusiasts, offering a wide range of challenges from gentle, child-friendly trails to demanding overhanging professional via ferratas. The short approach to these adventures is only surpassed by the inviting hut at the exit, which rounds off the climbing experience in a convivial atmosphere.
Due to the proximity to the valley, the via ferratas are accessible early in the year, and even autumn still offers the ideal playground for those who have young and old at heart at the same time and want to be inspired by this fascinating climbing world.

A few steps north of the Gasthof Zillertal is a detailed information board. Follow the path - past the Huterlaner via ferrata - to the entrance. Entry coordinates: N 47°10'28,4", O 11°51'38,0"
Descent
From the exit shortly to the inn Zimmereben. Pass the game reserve and keep left via the Huterlanersteig (No. 2C) back to the starting point. Please do not descend via the via ferrata!
