The Ewigen Jagdgründe climbing area, with their impressive granite towers behind Ginzling, are undoubtedly the trademark of the Zillertal and an absolute must for all sport climbers visiting this region. As the largest and oldest climbing area, it offers an indispensable attraction for climbing enthusiasts. The short approach to this area makes it particularly attractive and easy to reach.

The Tulfer is one of the most traditional climbing destinations in the Zillertal and shares this honour with the "Ewige Jagdgründe". Over the years, the Tulfer has been home to the most challenging routes in the entire valley area. The range of climbing routes is impressively diverse, extending from subtle, challenging slab routes to powerful overhang passages.

NOTE: The climbing area is closed annually from 02.10.-31.05.!

From the Ewige Jagdgründe climbing garden, climb up the left edge of the steep meadow to a hunters' path. Cross the stream bed and continue to the rocks. The rocks are already visible from the Ewige Jagdgründe car park.

!!! Please stay on the left side of the meadow uphill and do not disturb the grazing cattle !!!!

Breitlahner bouldering area

An outstanding hotspot for bouldering in the Zillertal awaits you here, with a wide range of bouldering in all degrees of difficulty. The fact that the boulders are located in the forest makes this bouldering area particularly recommendable.

NOTE: This bouldering area is continuously growing together with the "Klausenalm" area.

From Gasthof Breitlahner, follow the forest road in the direction of Klausenalm/Berliner Hütte. After the first three bends, turn right and find yourself directly at the boulders via clear climbing tracks.
