The via ferrata on the Seekarlspitze leads to the north wall and boasts breathtaking views. The most impressive section is the traverse of the north face right at the beginning.

Access
From the top station of the Rofan cable car, follow the Grubersteig in the direction of the Rofanspitze. At the Gruberscharte, turn left in the direction of the Spieljoch to the prominent ridge, which is embedded between the Rosskopf (= down climb of the Rosskopf via ferrata) and the Seekarlspitze.
Descent
Descend from the summit of the Seekarlspitze on the signposted hiking trail back to the top station of the Rofan cable car or walk to the next via ferrata on the Spieljoch.
