Fantastic views, a pleasantly cool climate on hot summer days, the largest lake in Tyrol and some of the best climbing areas in the province await.
All via ferratas
Safely through the rock
- 5 summit via ferratas: At an altitude of over 2,000 m, the Spieljoch, Haidachstellwand, Hochiss, Rosskopf and Seekarlspitze via ferratas lead through the imposing mountain landscape of the Achensee region to a summit. The length of the via ferratas varies between 180 and 450 m with a walking time of 3 to 5 hours. And with a bit of luck, you may discover one of the magnificent edelweiss nests on the Rosskopf via ferrata!
- Brudertunnel via ferrata: The via ferrata visible from the Lamsenhütte leads through the rock over a length of 250 m and ends with a slip-through. The key section of the via ferrata is a short steep section in the upper part of the tunnel. However, the passage is well secured.
- Via ferrata Dalfaz Waterfall: This scenically unique via ferrata is 150 m long and runs close to the valley along the Dalfaz Waterfall and ends on the hiking trail to the Dalfaz Alm. The walk takes approx. 1 hour.
- Felix & Charlotte family via ferrata: Short via ferrata - just below the Erfurter Hütte - which was built especially for families and beginners. The via ferrata at the edge of a cow pasture runs unspectacularly over a short rock step. Near the Erfurter Hütte, you climb out again on a meadow. If you are looking for a short, easy via ferrata near the Rofanseilbahn mountain station to pass the time or practice, this is the right place for you.
