You want to go high and are looking for casual tours? Here are the 5 most popular multi-pitch spots in our climbing community. From Achensee to the Wilder Kaiser, via Innsbruck to the Ötztal - there's certainly something for everyone.
1st Rotspitz - Rofan/Achensee
In the Achensee region, the Rofan is certainly one of the climbing paradises. The south face of the Rotspitze has 14 routes of medium difficulty (from 2 to 7a) and are 2 or 3 pitches long. A short approach and solid limestone are reminiscent of the Dolomites and make this south-facing wall particularly attractive.
2. Längenfeld/Nösslach in Ötztal
9 routes, all well-secured and in difficulty levels 3a to 8a+, have been drilled in Nösslach. So you can not only do excellent sport climbing there, but also venture higher (up to 8 pitches), especially as the rock in Ötztal is mostly solid.
3. Nassereith - Tieftal in the Imst vacation region
Alpine knowledge is requiredin Nassereith in Tieftal! You can only get back to the starting point by abseiling down the respective tour. A rope at least 70m long is therefore required. For those who feel comfortable in this terrain, the 8 routes with up to 4 rope lengths are highly recommended.
4th Vordere Karlsspitze - Wilder Kaiser
