The best climbing events in Tyrol - Highlights 2023

In 2023, there will once again be many exciting climbing events in Tyrol. In Tirol, we know how to honor and celebrate the sport of climbing. You can see this in the many superbly equipped areas and the best training opportunities. It's best to make a note of the most important dates in your calendar now. 1st World Cup in Innsbruck

Climbing is coming home: the Innsbruck Climbing Center will once again present itself in its traditional competition guise in 2023 and offer numerous national and international athletes a great stage: Where hundreds of amateur climbers hang on the wall every day and the KVÖ national team trains in the national performance center, the international climbing elite will also be guests in June 2023 and transform Innsbruck into an impressive hotspot.

Over seven days(12 to 18 June 2023), four international competitions are on the program at the outdoor location of the climbing center. All the top stars, including Olympic champion Janja Garnbret, US-American Natalia Grossman, Japanese figurehead Tomoa Narasaki and the exceptional Czech climber Adam Ondra, will once again be honored in Austria alongside the red-white-red athletes.

Although not climbing, slacklining has always been closely linked to climbing - and if you're already in the Pitztal, you can also do some great scrambling there! From 02 to 04 June 2023, the slacklining club Tiroliners is organizing the "Highline Event Pitztal" together with the TVB Pitztal for the second time! Two 140m long highlines will be set up along the Benni Raich suspension bridge in Arzl in Pitztal at a height of over 110m, on which the professionals will give their best.

Speaking of bouldering competitions. The Bloc Tour goes into the next round. From 20.3. to 1.5.2023, it's back to bouldering until your fingertips glow. Boulders will be bolted in five halls throughout Tyrol, which have to be climbed during the above-mentioned period.
