"Anyone can climb"
Paraclimbing is climbing for people with physical and sensory disabilities. To make training and competitions for paraclimbers possible, we have joined forces with Black Diamond and Tirol Werbung to launch the "Climbing is for everyone" charity campaign for the benefit of Paraclimbing Austria.
A crash pad couch travels through Tirol
We want to raise awareness and understanding for climbers with disabilities and call for donations to support Paraclimbing Austria. To this end, we are traveling with a crash pad couch, built from a Black Diamond bouldering mat, across the country to the Tyrolean climbing regions and meeting paraclimbers, climbing families, professionals and local climbing greats doing what is probably their favourite activity - climbing in Tyrol. The crash pad couch will find its way back to Innsbruck in time for the World Climbing Championships so that the newly crowned world champions can sign it. The couch will then be raffled off among all donors and, with a bit of luck, will end up in your home.
