For example, the "Chinese Wall" sport climbing area: a place of pilgrimage for the world's climbing elite, not least because of the famous Great Line "Puls 2000". The connoisseurs among you will love the "Mauerbogen" area with its many fantastic routes of moderate difficulty, including a well-developed approach and parking lot. "Flämenwandl" and the freshly renovated "Sonnenplatten Scharnitz" will put a smile on the faces of families and new climbers.
Still missing something for your personal adventure land? Then head for stand-up paddling at the Wildsee lake in Seefeld. Warm bathers, on the other hand, will be delighted by Lake Möserer See, where the water temperatures rise to 25 degrees Celsius in summer! Yoginis will gain completely new insights and views at Sunrise Yoga at an altitude of almost 2,500 meters, while sauna fans will appreciate the highest density of wellness facilities in the entire Alpine region - including countless day spa offers. Oh yes: Tyrol's capital Innsbruck with its pedestrian zone and diverse cultural offerings is just 20 kilometers away. Well? Exactly: adventure land in the middle of Tyrol, for real.
Great Lines on the Great Wall of China
A rocky outcrop worthy of its mighty name: the "Great Wall of China" climbing area. The rock jewel lies strikingly above the Leutasch and is visible from afar, just like the "Chinese original". Measuring an impressive 100 meters in width and up to 150 meters in height, it regularly makes climbers' hearts beat faster - be it at the mere idea of climbing there or when you are on one of the parade routes, such as the "Puls 2000" - the route is considered by connoisseurs and experts to be the most beautiful of its kind in grade 7c+.
The sports climbing garden offers over 180 routes spread across eleven sectors. The "Wall" is really fun for all those who are on their way up the 8th French grade. And so you can confidently enter the "Watschenmann" (7b+) without suffering any major injuries.

Flämenwandl: Climb, grill, chill
The Flämenwandl family climbing area is located directly on the Leutascher Ache and is named after its developers: Flämen, i.e. Dutch-speaking Belgians from the Flanders region. The Belgians completed a route-building course and were determined to put what they had learned into practice straight away. The result was the "Flämenwandl". The north-facing area is ideal for hot summer days. The Ache river is also great for cooling off. The routes start at the third level of difficulty - ideal for first attempts at rock climbing. A visit to the climbing garden becomes a real summer adventure day if you bring a few sausages in your cool bag and light a fire on the stone bank in the evening. Then the wood crackles, the sparks fly, the starry sky spreads out and promises a magnificent summer night. And when the smell of stick bread and grilled sausages fills the air, the day is perfect.

Scharnitzer Sonnenplatten - in the footsteps of climbing legend Heinz Zak
Heinz Zak has renovated and extended the Sonnenplatten Scharnitz with a lot of passion and hard work and a dedicated team. The extreme climber attached great importance to ensuring that the distances between bolts were moderate and the climbing lines harmonious, both when renovating and opening up new routes. Zak wants to create gentle entrances, entrances from the hall to the rock. The extreme climber goes to the gym a lot himself to train and observes the new generation of climbers. And it is precisely for this new community that he wants to make the jump to the rock possible. Safety is the top priority in the "Scharnitzer Sonnenplatten" climbing garden, as are beautiful lines that are also extremely rewarding in the lower difficulty ranges. A chill-out area with water fountain, slakline and toilet facilities round off the climbing garden perfectly.
Attention: We would like to point out that in spring 2021 the climbing garden can only be used to a limited extent due to rockfall! Please check the current situation on Climbers Paradise before visiting the crag. Thank you very much.

After-climb and culinary delights
When the air shimmers in summer, the Leutascher Ache is the perfect way to cool your body and mind - together with a picnic on the banks, it makes for an unforgettable summer's day. Alternatively, you can swim a few lengths of the Wildsee lake in Seefeld and then enjoy a large ice cream. If you are out and about in Scharnitz, you should stop off at the "Café in der Länd".
Hungry for bears? Close to the "Flämenwandl", "Mauerbogen" and "Chinesische Mauer" is the "Gasthaus Brücke" in Leutasch. The nature hotel "Aufatmen", also located in Leutasch, offers vegan-vegetarian cuisine. In the evening, guests from out of town can also order the 4-course menu. (table reservation recommended)
Everything except climbing
Yes, well, via ferrata is also climbing, but: the new panoramic via ferrata (C/D) to the Seefelder Spitze is a MUST. The climb leads from the Rosshütte to one of the most beautiful peaks in the region, from where you can enjoy a fantastic panorama over the entire Karwendel mountains, to the Zugspitze, Italy and beyond. Really without climbing: A hike to the Nördlinger Hütte: Rumor has it that you can enjoy probably the very best Kaiserschmarrn pancakes and the most beautiful sunsets here. Bikers, whether mountain bikers, trail riders or e-bikers, are guaranteed to feel like they are in adventure land here. Forest bathing or sunrise yoga on the Seefelder Joch are much more relaxed.
