All climbing gardens can be reached via a short approach, are well secured, offer routes of varying degrees of difficulty and have plenty of space for playing, picnicking and relaxing.

1st climbing garden Grubastiege

The small but beautiful Grubastiege climbing garden in the Achensee region is just a short walk from the Rofanbahn mountain station. 7 routes, all of which are well secured, await young and old explorers. The climbing garden faces south and is located at 1,900m - perfect for family climbing on hot summer days.

2nd climbing garden Oetz

The Ötz climbing garden is located right next to the parking lot on the road to Oetz in Ötztal. The two sectors "Lauser" and "Mogli" are ideal for children, as there are countless routes in the lower levels of difficulty.

For those who like it more difficult: the middle section is overhanging and there you will also find challenging routes.

3. climbing garden Putzen

Idyllically situated in the forest and with a waterfall nearby - these are the "ingredients" for a great day of family rock climbing at the Putzen climbing garden in the Imst vacation region. 26 routes provide variety and motivation for young and old!

4th Wiesensee climbing garden

The Wiesensee climbing garden in the Steinberge region is located directly on the small lake, is well secured and has 25 routes, mainly in the lower difficulty ranges.

5th climbing garden Flämenwandl

The Flämenwandl in the Olympiaregion Seefeld is located directly on the banks of the romantic Leutascher Ache. Here too, over 20 tours (from 3 to 6b+) offer climbing fun for the whole family.

And if you're really hungry, don't forget to bring a barbecue!

Equipment tip

For children, you should choose suitable equipment such as a special children's harness, big enough shoes and suitable clothing. Many kids also love their children's chalk bag. That's why you should support them and let them choose "their" favorite chalkbag themselves, such as a chalkbag monster or animal chalkbag.
